To make this dish:

  2. While the pasta is cooking, sauté the shrimp in a bit of olive oil until they’re pink and just cooked through.

Shrimp & Bacon Carbonara Pasta


Shrimp and pasta are two of the most famous ingredients when it comes to cooking. They both have a delicate flavor that can be enhanced with just the right seasonings, and they can be combined in so many different ways to create delicious dishes.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 pound spaghetti

• 1/4 cup olive oil

• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

• 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

• 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

• 1 cup heavy cream

• 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed

• 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled


Directions:

1. Cook your pasta according to the directions on the package.

2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add Parmesan cheese, butter, black pepper, salt, and garlic powder; constantly cook until cheese is melted and bubbly.

3. Dredge shrimp in flour. Add shrimp to saucepan; cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
